Billie Eilish's Halloween was a blue bob and head-to-toe latex as Noodle
Billie Eilish skipped the classic witch and went full Gorillaz for Halloween this year. The singer shared her costume on Instagram, revealing she dressed as Noodle, the guitarist avatar from the animated band, in a head-to-toe latex look topped with a bright blue bob.
The costume nailed the character: a white latex minidress trimmed in red, elbow-length latex gloves, and thigh-high striped latex socks. She finished it off with Converse sneakers and a red ribbon tied around her neck.
The blue bob itself is the talking point. Eilish has spent years with deep, nearly black hair, though fans know her for cycling through bright colors — she popularized the colored-roots trend years ago. It’s unclear whether she wore a wig or dyed her freshly chopped hair after returning to her natural strawberry blonde just last month.
The band noticed
The costume got a stamp of approval from inside the group. Gorillaz bassist Seye Adelekan left a comment that read, “Smashed it. Come to our show next time!”
Eilish has been easing back into the spotlight after a hiatus spent filming the upcoming screen adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s “The Bell Jar,” in which she plays the lead, Esther Greenwood.
