CeeDee Lamb blasts Cowboys offense: 'We stop ourselves. That sh*t is frustrating'
CeeDee Lamb is done sugarcoating it. Halfway through his seventh NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver got brutally honest about an offense that keeps stopping itself, telling reporters on Thursday exactly how the team's 3-5 start has felt to him.
"We stop ourselves. That sh*t is frustrating. It's annoying. I hate it," Lamb said, per reporter Jon Machota, not bothering to clean up a single word.
The frustration is easy to understand. The Cowboys came into 2026 expecting big things, with Dak Prescott at quarterback, Javonte Williams leading the run game and Lamb and George Pickens headlining the receiving corps. Instead, Dallas has lost most of its games, and several of the ones they could have won slipped away in lapses down the stretch.
A healthy season, a foundering team
Lamb himself has stayed on the field, catching 60 passes for 709 yards and six touchdowns so far. His production hasn't been the problem; the collective execution has.
The club now sits 3-5, second in the NFC East behind the New York Giants and 13th in the conference. Next up is a road trip to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9, with kickoff set for Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
Lamb's message was simple: Dallas has playoff talent, but until it starts making plays in critical moments instead of stalling out, the flashes of promise won't add up to much.
