McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meals are reportedly back with 15 tiny collectibles and trading cards
Fast food collectors, clear a shelf. McDonald’s is reportedly reviving its Pokémon Happy Meal collaboration for the franchise’s 30th anniversary, and leaked promotional materials show 15 miniature Pokémon-themed toys — each one shaped like a tiny Happy Meal box.
The reported lineup spans the decades: Pikachu, Eevee, Umbreon, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Weedle, Torchic, Sobble, Espurr, Munchlax, Minccino, Sprigatito, Piplup and Rowlet. Newer faces like Sprigatito and Sobble sit alongside Gen 1 classics, so there is something for every era of fan.
The leaking goes deeper than the toys. Each set apparently comes with two Pokémon trading cards, and the news site PokéBeach reports there will be 15 cards in total to collect — though the full card list has not surfaced yet.
Even the fruit is getting in on it. The images show special apple-slice packaging featuring Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Eevee, which is the level of commitment you only see for a milestone birthday.
When it lands — and whether McDonald’s will confirm
The leaked promotional sheet lists November 10 through December 14, 2026 as the U.S. window. PokéBeach says it confirmed those dates with multiple McDonald’s locations, but the chain itself has not announced the promotion, so the details remain officially unconfirmed.
That caveat matters. McDonald’s has pulled these Pokémon collaborations before, and past releases have sold out fast among adult collectors who never outgrew the card-and-toy habit. If the little Happy Meal boxes are real — and the leaks suggest they are — expect drive-thru lines full of grown-ups ordering kids’ meals for themselves.
“For now, I’m just hoping those little Happy Meal boxes are real,” Delish’s Steven Morea wrote. Same.
