63-year-old Demi Moore went nude and monochrome in Cannes.
The day before, 63-year-old Demi Moore changed several outfits at the Cannes Film Festival: a sheer dress and a black-and-white ensemble. At the premiere of "A Woman's Life" on May 13, the star wore a purple Gucci dress with a long train and a high slit. She accessorized with diamond earrings and heels. Her fashion look was a nod to two things: her own 2003 appearance at the premiere of "The Matrix Reloaded" and Demna Gvasalia's final couture collection for Balenciaga.
The internet admired how fresh and elegant Moore looked in her purple dress: "The most ageless actress in Hollywood," "Gorgeous," "Her dress is the best thing that happened in Cannes this year."
She later appeared in a black and white look at the Le Diner Women of Worth dinner, organized by L'Oréal Paris as part of the festival, along with Jane Fonda and Heidi Klum.
This year, Demi Moore joined the Cannes Film Festival jury. From May 12 to 23, the Hollywood actress, along with directors Park Chan-wook, Diego Céspedes, Lauren Vandel, and Chloé Zhao, screenwriter Paul Laverty, actress Ruth Negga, and actors Isaach De Bankolé and Stellan Skarsgård, will decide which of the festival's participants will receive the Palme d'Or, the traditional awards at Cannes.
Moore's career has recently experienced a resurgence, largely thanks to the buzz surrounding her starring role in "Substance." In 2025, the actress was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the body horror film. She also won a Golden Globe for her work in "Substance." In contrast to her career highs, Moore's personal life has been overshadowed by the serious illness of her ex-husband, Bruce Willis: in 2023, the actor's family announced that he had been diagnosed with dementia. Moore and his daughters with Willis continue to visit the 71-year-old actor, who barely speaks and doesn't recognize his loved ones.
Earlier, Demi Moore's look also received special attention at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival.
