Kate Middleton appeared in public wearing a Melania Trump-style hat.
The Princess of Wales is buzzing online about her latest outing. Along with her husband, Prince William, 44-year-old Kate Middleton visited Kent, where the royal couple attended the inauguration ceremony of Sarah Mullaly as Archbishop of Canterbury (the first woman to hold the post).
The princess's appearance at Canterbury Cathedral left no one indifferent: she wore a gray plaid coat dress by Suzannah London and high heels. Kate completed her outfit with pearl flower earrings and a classic Chanel handbag, but the highlight was a wide-brimmed hat from the English brand Juliette Millinery. The headdress, which many compared to the signature hats of US First Lady Melania Trump, almost completely hid Middleton's face and, due to the strong wind, kept trying to fly away - the princess had to hold it.
Earlier, Middleton attended a state banquet in honor of the visiting President of Nigeria, wearing a tiara that once belonged to Princess Diana. Incidentally, Kate is a great fan of this accessory and often chooses it for official occasions.
As a reminder, Kate Middleton and 43-year-old Prince William, who have been married since 2011, have three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. In 2024, the Princess of Wales suddenly disappeared from the public eye, and a few months later announced she had been diagnosed with cancer. After a year of treatment, she went into remission. Rumors recently circulated that the disease had returned and that Middleton was wearing a wig due to hair loss, but these rumors have not been confirmed.
