Urban's friends told the Daily Mail that he was "absolutely shocked" after his eldest daughter neglected to mention him in an interview with Elle Australia, while thanking her mother, Nicole Kidman. The interview followed her appearance at the Calvin Klein fashion show, and in the conversation, she thanked her mother for her support and creative energy, but neglected to mention her father. Urban, according to sources, was "shocked by such a dismissive attitude."
