Prince William and Kate Middleton met with the President of Nigeria
The Prince and Princess of Wales met with Nigerian President Bolu Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, who arrived in the UK for a two-day visit. Prince William and Kate Middleton accompanied the guests to King Charles III.
For the event, Middleton chose a gray coat dress by the young Nigerian-born designer Tolu Koker, whose show at London Fashion Week last month was attended by King Charles III himself.
After the meeting, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their guests traveled by car to Queen's Square in the center of Windsor. There, they were met by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, after which they all proceeded to the palace. Ahead of the Nigerian president is a state banquet with the royal family.
As a reminder, Kate Middleton has been married to the Prince of Wales for 14 years. The couple are parents to 12-year-old George, 10-year-old Charlotte, and seven-year-old Louis. Two years ago, the Princess of Wales was diagnosed with cancer. Following the announcement, Kate began chemotherapy. At the same time, the Princess of Wales recorded a message for her fans, asking them not to participate in spreading frightening rumors and to give her time to recover. Kate Middleton successfully completed treatment and went into remission, returning to her official duties as a member of the royal family.
However, rumors that her cancer has recurred continue to circulate. The last time such rumors surfaced was in September 2025, when Kate Middleton appeared in public with bleached hair. Many online speculated that the princess was wearing a wig because she was undergoing chemotherapy again.
