Actress Teyana Taylor argued with a security guard at the 2026 Oscars.
35-year-old American actress Teyana Taylor spoke about a conflict with a security guard at the Oscars: the star accused the security officer of assault, reports the Daily Mail.
The incident occurred when Teyana and Warner Bros. co-head Pameloa Abdi were pushing their way through the crowd to enter the stage where her co-stars were. That's when a man in uniform blocked the way and pushed her away, preventing her from moving forward. The incident was captured on video: "You, man, you're groping a woman! You're very rude. You're very rude. You're very rude," Taylor angrily told the security guard.
Moreover, the actress stated that the security guard pushed her away and after the incident not only did not apologize to her, but also demanded an apology from Teyana herself.
As a reminder, Teyana Taylor was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in "Battle by Battle." She co-starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn. The film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, was named Best Picture of 2026, winning six awards.
This year's Oscars red carpet was graced by Demi Moore, Timothée Chalamet, Kirsten Dunst, Anne Hathaway, Jacob Elordi, Gwyneth Paltrow, Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, and many other stars. Comedian Conan O'Brien hosted the ceremony.
