In early January, Damiano David and actress and singer Dove Cameron officially confirmed rumors of their engagement: she posted a photo on social media in which she showed off her engagement ring.
In a recent interview, Cameron revealed that they plan to have their wedding in Italy, the singer's native country. Dove also revealed details of their meeting for the first time. They met backstage at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, and, according to her, Damiano was not at all friendly and barely looked at her. Their relationship began in 2023. Davide had previously dated Italian model Giorgia Soleri.
