Katy Perry shared rare photos with boyfriend Justin Trudeau amid Orlando Bloom's new romance.
Katy Perry posted rare photos with her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on Instagram*. Many online assumed the 41-year-old singer was responding to the new romance of her ex-boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, who recently made his first public appearance with her.
The photos show Perry and 54-year-old Trudeau posing at a table in an Asian restaurant and hugging while skiing. "Let love be the revolution," the artist captioned the post.
Users reacted to the post in mixed ways. Some thought Katy was trying to steal the show, as she posted the photos immediately after Bloom appeared publicly with a new girlfriend. Others, on the contrary, saw the gesture as support, congratulating her ex on a new chapter in his life.
As a reminder, the day before, 49-year-old Orlando appeared at the Super Bowl with 28-year-old Swiss model Louise Laemmel. The supposed couple arrived at the event hand in hand, and were open to the cameras, showing their affection. Furthermore, fans of the actor have already noted that she resembles his ex-wife, supermodel Miranda Kerr.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, who share a daughter, Daisy, split last summer after nine years together. Rumors suggest the reasons were conflicting schedules, as well as a series of conflicts over the singer's failed album and criticism of her space flight. After the split, Perry and Bloom briefly feuded online, but eventually managed to mend their relationship for the sake of their child and even spent the New Year's holidays together. 
The singer began dating Trudeau around the same time. Paparazzi spotted the couple together several times, and in October, they made their first public appearance as a couple. They recently attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, and previously traveled to Japan, where they met with the former prime minister.
