Rare photos of Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling with their grown daughters have surfaced online. Paparazzi caught the family on a stroll through Montecito.

Gosling, 45, and Mendes, 51, accompanied by Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine, were photographed exiting their massive SUV in the parking lot. The family made a few purchases at a local store before heading out.

Gosling and Mendes try to keep their daughters out of the public eye, and after the actor left for the UK to film Star Wars: Starfighter (in which Mendes is expected to play his character's wife), they were seen even less often.

Mendes and her daughters are rumored to have joined Gosling in London, preferring a quieter lifestyle abroad. Insiders say the family lives in an upscale neighborhood popular with celebrities, with neighbors reportedly including Harry Styles, Jude Law, and Emma Thompson.

Gosling and Mendes' relationship began while filming The Place Beyond the Pines in 2012. In 2014, after the birth of her first child, Mendes retired from acting and focused on other business projects. The actress's near-absence from red carpet events is a frequent topic online. Some believe Gosling forbids his wife from working and wants her to stay home with the children. Others defend Eva, pointing out that she chose to stay home with the children.
