Yura Borisov's wife shared a rare photo of him and the couple on the occasion of his 33rd birthday.
Yura Borisov turned 33, and his wife, Anna Shevchuk, publicly congratulated her husband on Instagram*, posting an archived photo of him and his wife together, as well as a photo of him with a birthday cake.
The photo shows Borisov jumping, wearing a dark jumper and gray jeans, while Anna stands behind him, smiling. She added a short greeting to the post: "Happy birthday, 33!" and a heart emoji. Shevchuk also posted a video in her Stories of Yura hugging his daughters, ten-year-old Marfa and eight-year-old Akulina.
As a reminder, Borisov and actress Anna Shevchuk have been together since 2014. They met while studying at drama school. Anna worked at the Sovremennik Theater and now represents her husband as an agent. Rumors recently circulated online that Yura had begun an affair with a longtime fan and was planning to divorce his wife, but these rumors have not been confirmed.
Yura Borisov became the first Russian actor to be nominated for an Oscar, for his role in Sean Baker's "Anora." Although he didn't win the statuette, the film's triumph at major film festivals cemented his status as one of the most promising actors of the new generation. He signed a contract with a leading talent agency in the US, received an invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will star in a major Hollywood film.
