"It's about our child's safety." Singer Vlad Sokolovsky admitted he's been threatened with kidnapping his three-year-old son.

Thirty-four-year-old singer Vlad Sokolovsky and his wife Angelina complained that they were being threatened with the kidnapping of their three-year-old son, David. The couple published a statement on Instagram*, revealing the details.

They reported that their family had been harassed by insane individuals. According to the couple, unknown individuals were sending them photos of their child pasted to other people's graves and threatening to throw acid on the boy's mother. "We received a threat about our son's kidnapping. Frankly, we wanted to resolve this matter quietly, strictly within the law. We were really counting on our Russian legislation to handle such matters and protect people from such situations. God knows, we didn't want to go public with this, because there was already so much negativity and everything else," the couple said.

The couple clarified that they've been facing these attacks for three years now: "When it came to our child's safety, we, of course, decided to somehow influence this situation. If there's a way to do this through the media, through publicity, then we will, because we don't want this to go unpunished."

In a conversation with The Voice, the singer clarified that appealing to law enforcement hadn't helped: "We were faced with the fact that this was all happening on social media, and that supposedly no one had physically touched us yet... We needed to wait for someone to touch us, for this whole thing to move forward. That's why we decided to turn to the public."

The celebrity couple clarified that Angelina was the stalker's primary target. She changed her phone number six times, but the unknown woman still found a way to contact her. Before their wedding, she sent Angelina a photo of herself burying her in a cemetery. The couple tried to ignore this behavior for a long time, but the stalker crossed online boundaries: she learned their home address, began sending photos of their front door, and threatened violence, including throwing acid at Angelina. The investigation identified the two women who terrorized the family and opened a criminal case under several articles of the Russian Criminal Code.

Vlad and Angelina met in 2019 and publicly confirmed their relationship in 2021. Their son, David, was born in March 2022. Sokolovsky also has an eight-year-old daughter, Mia, with Rita Dakota. The couple separated in 2018, and Mia primarily lives with her mother abroad.

Vlad Sokolovsky is a Russian singer, participant of the "Star Factory", member of Alla Dukhova's ballet "Todes", and former lead singer of the group "BiS".
