"I'm an artist, which means I can scam someone." Singer Slava complained that she can't sell her apartment because of the "Larisa Dolina effect."
Singer Slava stated that she is unable to sell her apartment due to Larisa Dolina's real estate scandal. The artist took aim at her colleague on social media, declaring that she can't stand her.
Slava said she wanted to help her children with real estate, as well as renovate her house and help her sister with renovations, so she decided to sell one of her apartments. But the singer ran into difficulties after her colleague Larisa Dolina had her property, allegedly sold to fraudsters, returned to court, leaving the real buyer penniless. Now, other owners of existing homes are using the same scheme en masse, and it's already been dubbed the "Dolina effect."
"Because of my 'favorite' singer, Larisa Dolina, I can't sell any of my apartments right now. Because of the situation she's created, I need to visit every drug treatment clinic, go who knows where, who knows why. What if the buyers find out I'm an artist and think I'm trying to scam them? Thank you so much, [damn it]!" Slava declared.
The singer noted that she felt very sorry for the people and families who suffered after the high-profile Dolina case and encountered fraudulent property owners.
"To be honest, I'm shaking; I can't even speak normally. I'm a complete law-abiding person; I always work honestly. I have a realtor I've been working with for years. I don't go to shitty realtors who then [cheat] people. And then these poor people give me their money and end up without it. But Larisa got her apartment back! What a situation! I don't want to get involved in it. Not only do I have to go through all the drug treatment centers, but I also have to record the transaction on video, and I'll be interrogated about whether I'm normal or not. I'm just in complete shock," continued 45-year-old Slava, recalling Dolina's appearance on the show "Mask" dressed as Moose, hinting that she was well paid there. 
"Now, to pay for the renovations at my sister's house, I'll have to put on a moose costume and make the whole country laugh to become popular. But, thank God, I'm already popular," Slava concluded.
As a reminder, last summer, Larisa Dolina publicly admitted that scammers had tricked her into selling her luxury apartment in Khamovniki and handing over the proceeds. The criminals allegedly "cultivated" the artist for three months, stealing approximately 180 million rubles from her, including proceeds from the sale of the apartment, which she sold to Moscow resident Lurya. Dolina filed a lawsuit, where the sale was invalidated, forcing the buyer to return it, losing both her money and the property. The 70-year-old singer also received a refund of three million rubles to the real estate agent's commission.
Against this backdrop, several thousand cases of apartments being returned to their owners months and even years after the sale have already been recorded across the country. Thus, buyers, like Luria, are left without money or apartments, and some are forced to continue paying their mortgages.
