Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene of Monaco with their children lit the Christmas tree in Monaco.
The reigning Prince of Monaco, Albert II, and his wife, Charlene, along with their children, officially lit the festive lights on the Christmas tree at Place du Marché in La Condamine.
Charlene, 47, appeared at the event in a houndstooth coat, accessorizing with leather shoes and gloves. Princess Gabriella, 10, posed in a Fendi cape, and her twin brother, Crown Prince Jacques, wore an Armani sweatshirt. The children pressed a button, turning on lights throughout the principality, officially marking the start of the festive season in Monaco and its accompanying events.
Earlier, 67-year-old Prince Albert II of Monaco with his wife Charlene and children, as well as his sisters and their families, celebrated the country's National Day.
As a reminder, Prince Albert II, the son of Prince Rainier III and Hollywood actress Grace Kelly, married Olympic athlete Charlene Wittstock in 2011. Three years later, they had twins: the heir to the throne, Prince Jacques, and Princess Gabriella. Albert II also has two officially recognized illegitimate older children from different mothers who have no claim to the throne.
