Madonna, 67, has secretly gotten engaged to her 29-year-old boyfriend, Akeem Morris. Rumors of their engagement surfaced earlier this year, but RadarOnline has now confirmed the news.

"Madonna continues to insist she doesn't want to waste a minute. She's done everything she had to, but now she's craving something real. Akim gives her a sense of calm and closeness—he makes her laugh, motivates her in all the right ways, and treats her better than anyone ever has," a source close to the singer told RadarOnline.

According to the publication, Madonna is completely "bewitched" by her lover, and her children adore him too. "He's mature, respects her, and has shown her what true strength and stability are," said one insider. Another added that before Akim, the singer had simply had flings, but with him, it's different, as he sees her as more than just a star: "He's confident and isn't overwhelmed by who she is, and she really appreciates that."

Madonna and her partner are still planning to sign a prenuptial agreement: "Of course, she'll draw it up. Akim doesn't mind—he already signed all sorts of agreements when they first started dating, so he has no problem with it." The singer is currently considering where to hold the wedding. Options include Italy, Portugal, or her mansion in East Hampton.

Madonna and Akeem Morris's engagement was first reported in January of this year. Back then, the singer posted a photo showing a ring that looked very much like an engagement ring. Madonna has been married twice before: to actor Sean Penn and director Guy Ritchie. With Ritchie, she has a daughter, Lourdes, and a son, Rocco. The singer is also the mother of four adopted children.
