Velvet dress in Greek style and a new tattoo: Angelina Jolie became a star at the Tony Awards
On Sunday, Angelina Jolie attended the Tony Awards in New York with her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne. On the red carpet, the actress not only showed off a stylish look in a draped dress, but also showed off a new tattoo.
The 49-year-old actress posed in a sea green velvet Versace corset dress, the abundance of draperies on which was reminiscent of a theater curtain. The dress is made in the Greek style without straps and is complemented by a shawl on the shoulders. The star wore her hair in curls and completed the look with massive gold earrings and bracelets.
A new tattoo of a small bird, similar to a sparrow, was spotted on Angelina's chest. Sparrows can have special meaning: they usually symbolize freedom, love and loyalty.
In April, the actress was spotted with yet another new tattoo on her arm. At the premiere of the musical "The Outsiders," she showed off a tattoo of the phrase "Stay Gold" on her wrist, which referenced the plot of the play: this phrase is spoken by one of the characters as a reminder to stay true to yourself. "The Outsiders," produced by Angelina Jolie, received 12 Tony nominations and won in four categories, including "Best Musical."
