French singer and 60s style icon Françoise Hardy has died
Famous French singer and actress Françoise Hardy died at the age of 80. The star’s son, musician Thomas Dutronc, announced this on social networks, writing briefly: “Mom has left.”
He did not disclose the circumstances of Françoise’s death, but it is known that the singer struggled with cancer for many years, and in 2019 she was diagnosed with a new cancer. In March 2024, the singer announced that she would never be able to sing again.
Ardie became famous throughout the world after participating in the Eurovision song contest, where she performed the song L'amout s'en va, representing Monaco. Her greatest fame came from the hits Tous les garcons et les filles and Voila.
