"I'm not too worried about aging." Kate Beckinsale spoke out about bullying and accusations that she had facial plastic surgery
Actress Kate Beckinsale wrote a large and frank post on social networks, in which she talked about the fact that she has been bullied about her appearance for twenty years. According to the actress, she is constantly accused of doing something with her appearance.
"Every time I write something, and by the way, this has been happening since I was in my 30s, I get accused of having plastic surgery or using fillers to look younger. And it really is such a subtle way to intimidate people." - said the 50-year-old actress.
She noted that she had never done anything like this and was even forced to ask a plastic surgeon to confirm her words. This didn’t help much; the actress was still faced with the fact that subscribers, mostly women, constantly told her that she had become unrecognizable due to plastic surgery: “Life is like this, it’s obvious that I’m getting old, in general everyone gets old, but I’m not too I'm worried about this because I found my father dead when I was five. I spent most of my life crippled by severe anxiety and panic attacks that made me think I would die of a heart attack." Kate Beckinsale noted that it was too ironic for her to be bullied for suggestions that she was afraid of aging because she was consumed with terror that she was sure she would not even live to see 20.
After that, she again drew the attention of subscribers to the fact that she had not changed much in recent years: “I was paler, I plucked my eyebrows, I liked the brown lipstick that everyone was wearing then. I had a fuller face, like most of them.” When we were 20, makeup was matte, not glossy. I thought contouring was something out of geography lessons.” Finally, the star wrote that she was sure that her publication would not have any effect, because she would still be accused of something she did not do, but still asked to stop bullying her.
This is not the first time Kate Beckinsale has spoken out about plastic surgery - the last time a wave of questions about changes in her appearance was caused by a photo she published in November last year. It showed her in a wheelchair and with a bandage on her face. But it turned out that she simply had to have her wisdom tooth removed. Before this, the network discussed her appearance after the Cannes Film Festival.
