Taylor's fans are sure that in at least one of the songs, thanK you aIMee, the singer metaphorically speaks about a long-standing conflict with Kim Kardashian. We're talking about the time Kanye West used Swift's name in his track, which included the following words: “I think Taylor and I can still have sex. Why? Yeah, because I made that bitch famous.” Kim then supported her now ex-husband by posting an excerpt from a conversation with Swift, where she agreed to be mentioned in the song. Taylor then faced criticism from the public, but it later turned out that the full version of the conversation did not contain a single mention of Kanye publicly calling her a “bitch.”
And in her new composition, Taylor sings about an angry girl with a fake tan whom she cannot forgive. Even though this girl's name is technically Aimee, the track title features the letters K, I and M. “I don't think you've changed much since then, so I changed your name so you won't be identifiable. Someday your baby will come home singing my song, but only the two of us will know it's about you,” the lyrics read. Similar references to the conflict are found in the song Cassandra.
It's worth noting that not everyone appreciated Taylor's diss on Kim. Many Internet users believe that it is time for the singer to stop clinging to the same old drama. So, in the telegram channel Pechenyushki&Co wrote: “I can no longer cope with the amount of information about Taylor Swift and the fact that she cannot work through her grievances and problems from 10 years ago.”
As for Kim, she did not react in any way to the alleged attack in her direction. As the Daily Mail writes, citing its source, the TV star feels humiliated and driven into a corner. She decided to remain silent because she knows what Swift's army of fans is capable of.

In the black-and-white clip, Ethan and Josh play scientists conducting experiments on Taylor after her failure in love. On her social networks, the singer posted a photo with the actors and wrote: “It still makes me laugh how we worked with the coolest guys in the world, Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles. Martyred poets, meet your fellow dead poets down the hall.”
