Rihanna dressed as a "teacher" and A$AP Rocky in a tie met with Emmanuel Macron
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky flew to Paris this weekend—and not just for Fashion Week. Last night they were captured by photographers as they left the Elysee Palace, the presidential residence. It is still unknown what exactly was discussed during Emmanuel Macron’s meeting with the famous couple.
The images of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who are famous for their extravagant style, are not afraid of experiments and are generally considered street style stars, have already been ridiculed on social networks for their uncharacteristic conservatism: A$AP Rocky wore a tie to the meeting, and Ri chose a knee-length pencil skirt and stilettos and a classic clutch. 
Rihanna has known the French president for quite some time. Back in 2017, the singer addressed the politician on Twitter (blocked in the Russian Federation) with a call to support her campaign to provide education to children and youth in developing countries. A month later, Macron received the artist at the Elysee Palace and personally discussed the initiative with her. In 2018, they both spoke at a conference in Senegal on the same topic.
In addition, Rihanna and Macron are also connected by the singer’s direct participation in the country’s economy: she launched the cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty and a luxury clothing brand under the wing of the LVMH concern, which belongs to the French billionaire Bernard Arnault, the richest man in the world. So Rihanna is a frequent visitor to France. This time, for example, in addition to meeting Macron, she managed to stop by the Dior show, and after it visited her favorite Parisian restaurant Siena, where she left a funny autograph on the plate and took a photo for the establishment’s account.
