Photos of Amanda Bynes, who has lost a significant amount of weight after taking Ozempic, have surfaced online.
Amanda Bynes, 40, who started taking the popular celebrity drug Ozempic to look better in paparazzi photos, has lost nearly 14 kilograms, according to the Daily Mail. The significantly slimmer actress was recently photographed in Los Angeles.
The star of the film "What a Girl Wants" complained on her social media back in December of last year that she didn't like how her excess weight was making her appear in random paparazzi photos. Now she's happy with how her body is gradually changing: "I used to dislike paparazzi photos because I weighed 82 kg, but now I've lost weight to 69 kg thanks to Ozempic."
As a reminder, in the early 2000s, Amanda Bynes was one of the most popular and successful young stars in Hollywood, alongside Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, and the Olsen sisters. She had her own show, "The Amanda Show," on Nickelodeon, as well as starring roles in the teen comedies "She's the Man," "Love Island," "What a Girl Wants," and others.
Amanda's last role was in the film "Easy A," starring Emma Stone, which was released in 2010. At the same time, Bynes, under a pseudonym, revealed on social media that she had become pregnant at 13 by her boss and had an abortion. Many guessed she was referring to her show's producer, Dan Schneider. Nickelodeon only ended its long-standing partnership with Schneider in 2018, after accusations of sexual harassment against actresses and studio employees, including minors, amid the rise of the MeToo movement.
Childhood abuse derailed Amanda's career: she developed mental health issues, began abusing alcohol, and began taking illegal drugs. She was admitted to a psychiatric hospital several times.
Amanda is currently looking for different ways to earn money: last year, the actress created an OnlyFans account. She's also preparing to release a new song for the first time in four years; her previous effort, "Diamonds," was released in 2022. However, it's not her projects that are the most talked about online, but her appearance. Fans were shocked to see her after a long hiatus: Bynes had gained a significant amount of weight, got a heart tattoo on her cheek, and started wearing a nose piercing.
