The organizer of paid retreats featuring Meghan Markle called her "divine"
Gemma O'Neill, the organizer of the retreat Meghan Markle planned to attend for a fee, shared rave reviews of her recent conversation with the Duchess of Sussex on social media: "I literally just got off a Zoom call with Meghan. She was absolutely divine, so beautiful. I immediately wanted to chat with her. She's absolutely amazing, and I adore her already. I'm already her biggest fan."
The host of the podcast Her Best Life revealed that Meghan Markle has expressed a desire to attend the upcoming retreat and openly communicate with its participants. The event, featuring the Duchess of Sussex, is being marketed as "the perfect girls' weekend," with participation prices ranging from $1,876 to $2,278.
The revelation of Meghan's paid retreats came amid rumors of the Sussexes' precarious financial situation: Netflix previously severed its partnership with Meghan Markle's home goods company, As Ever. Journalist Tom Bower also reported on Meghan's paid appearance at the Balenciaga show at Fashion Week in 2025, for which the Duchess could have been paid approximately $250,000.
As a reminder, despite several broken contracts, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to launch a new project with Netflix – a dramatic series about polo.
