Cardi B's ex-husband has demanded a DNA paternity test for her child.
Cardi B's ex-husband, rapper Offset, who was recently wounded in a shooting, wants a DNA test to determine who the father of the rapper's youngest child is: he or her ex-boyfriend Stefon Diggs, TMZ reports.
According to a source, the court rejected Offset's request for a DNA test, finding it unfounded: at the time of the child's conception and birth, Cardi and Offset had already been living separately for a long time. However, another request by the rapper—for a DNA test for one of the children born during the rapper's marriage to Offset—was granted.
As a reminder, the marriage of 33-year-old Cardi B and 34-year-old Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) was full of scandals: the couple married in 2017, and from then until their separation announcement in December 2023, the celebrities were on and off numerous times. The couple has three children: seven-year-old Calce, four-year-old Wave, and one-year-old Blossom. Offset has three more children from three former lovers. Last spring, Cardi B accused her ex-husband of attempted murder, stalking, and intimidation. According to the singer, Offset harassed her for several months.
After another breakup with a rapper, Cardi began dating 32-year-old athlete and NFL player Stefon Diggs. In May 2025, they officially confirmed their relationship, and in September, the singer announced she was pregnant. The child was born in November 2025. The couple split earlier this year.
Additionally, on April 7, 2026, Offset was injured in a shooting. The rapper was hospitalized and his condition was listed as stable. A representative for the artist confirmed that Offset is under medical supervision.
