Adele performed in Las Vegas wearing a Valentin Yudashkin dress
Adele gave a concert as part of a residency in Las Vegas and chose a dress from the Russian brand Valentin Yudashkin for the performance. Galina, the daughter of the famous fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin, announced this on social media, noting that “her dream came true.”
“Galina Yudashkina has always loved Adele’s work, and when their team offered to style her look for a concert in Las Vegas, we were incredibly happy,” the brand’s press service told Izvestia.
Representatives of the fashion house explained that the black color of the outfit was one of the singer’s main conditions. The dress took about two months to create, based on a powder pink model from the latest 2024 couture collection shown at Dubai Fashion Week. Some changes were made to the product especially for the singer, after which the dress was sent to the USA. “For Valentin Yudashkin this is a great victory and pride,” the press service emphasized.
Adele shared photos from the concert on her Instagram*. The news immediately spread across Russian telegram channels. “It should be noted that the fashion house produces better dresses for singers than uniforms for the military,” commented on the “Neprincessa” telegram channel.
Valentin Yudashkin died on May 2, 2023 at the age of 59. In the last years of his life, he struggled with cancer. The fashion designer was buried on May 6 at the Troekurovskoye cemetery in Moscow. It is noteworthy that Adele’s concert took place on the day when a monument to Yudashkin was erected in Moscow.
