Breaking tradition and paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth: the royal family publishes a portrait of Princess Charlotte on the occasion of her ninth birthday
The official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales* published a photograph of Princess Charlotte: the daughter of William and Kate turned nine years old today. As with Prince Louis, the royal family has broken with its long-standing tradition of always publishing birthday portraits early in the morning. In addition, the portrait showed a tribute to Queen Elizabeth: Charlotte poses next to a rose bush, which is named after her grandmother.
Recently, every action of members of the royal family has caused a lot of rumors: ever since Kate Middleton stopped going out after Christmas. Many conspiracy theories have gone viral online, ranging from Prince William’s illegitimate child to the death of Kate Middleton. The royal family tried to refute them, but only provoked more and more debate. In the end, Kate announced that she had cancer and was currently undergoing treatment, which is why she did not appear in public. But even this did not convince everyone: many inconsistencies were found in Kate’s video message.
The delay with the portrait of Prince Louis also caused gossip: this was seen as a hint that something was wrong in the family. In addition, a video of Kate Middleton leaving the maternity hospital in the dress of the heroine from the film “Rosemary's Baby” has gone viral online: according to the plot of the film, Mia Farrow's heroine gave birth to the Antichrist. And later, fans were frightened by a photo from Kate and William’s wedding on the occasion of their 13th anniversary: a black and white frame appeared on Instagram*, which usually accompanies news of someone’s death.
