Dolly Parton's Cup of Ambition coffee ships nationwide in three roasts
Dolly Parton always knew what to call her coffee. Cup of Ambition — the brew the country icon chased for more than four decades — is now shipping nationwide, weeks after the first bags appeared at Dolly's Tennessean Travel Stop. The name is lifted straight from the morning routine she sang about in “9 to 5,” and now it's an actual thing you can brew.
Made with Louisiana-based Community Coffee, the line comes in three roasts: Light, Medium and Dark. Ground coffee is available now through CupOfAmbition.com, CommunityCoffee.com, TikTok Shop, Amazon and Walmart, while K-Cup pods are open for pre-order.
Dolly explained the name in June. “I thought the Cup of Ambition would be a fantastic name for a coffee brand, and I've been working towards this for over 40 years,” she said. “This is just one of those dreams that's taken a little longer than I thought it might, but we've got it and it's working. I can't wait for you to try it.”
She filmed three commercials for the brand in July, including one released September 29 that shows her getting ready for the day with her own coffee. Watching her on screen again has left fans reaching for tissues as much as mugs.
Every cup gives back
For Donna Saurage, Community Coffee's third-generation owner, the partnership went beyond a good brew. The two bonded over family and giving back, and that carries into the collection itself: every purchase helps support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which mails free books to children from birth through age five.
Fan reactions mix grief with gratitude. “Miss you Dolly but felt joy seeing this today,” one commented. Another wrote, “Miss her. We were blessed to walk this earth with her.”
Others are already planning their next bag. “I hope to find Dolly Parton's Cup Of Ambition Coffee in stores,” one wrote, while a second pushed for “different flavors too.” Until then, the roasts are easy to find online, with no travel stop required.
