Angelina Jolie Appears Barefoot on Show and Admits She Wanted to Become a Funeral Director
Angelina Jolie, 49, went on Jimmy Fallon's show barefoot and admitted that she wanted to become a funeral director (and still hasn't completely given up on the idea).
The actress said she gave up shoes because she was injured and simply couldn't find the right shoes. "Yesterday I broke my toe. And I was trying to find comfortable shoes, but I just decided to go for the sake of it," she said.
According to Jolie, she decided to try her hand at the funeral business after her grandfather died. "My grandfather died, and I remember thinking, this isn't supposed to be it. This is supposed to be a celebration of life. And because I'm not afraid of death and I'm comfortable with it, I thought, 'I could make a career out of this. I could do something better. This is my backup career now.'"
She said this about her children and said that they would like to be less public, especially her eldest biological daughter with Brad Pitt, Shiloh, who is often caught in the paparazzi's lenses. "They really want to be more private. Not be in pictures. I think Shiloh would like privacy more than anything. It's not their choice to be public. Some people are more comfortable in public and some are not."
In total, Jolie has six children: adopted - 23-year-old Maddox, 20-year-old Pax and 19-year-old Zahara, as well as biological - 18-year-old Shiloh and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne from her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The couple broke up in 2016. According to insiders, the actor only sees his children on the red carpet: the Internet believes that Jolie sets the children against their father in order to take revenge on him. Due to disagreements with Angelina, the actor's parents do not communicate with their grandchildren either.
