On Wednesday, the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh hosted a grand show of the famous couture brand Elie Saab, dedicated to its 45th anniversary. The event brought together show business stars who have collaborated with the Lebanese designer for many years, and the most famous models took to the catwalk. Celine Dion in the company of stylist Law Roach, Monica Bellucci, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Halle Berry, Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford, Peppy Delevingne and others.
58-year-old Halle Berry took to the stage in the same Elie Saab dress in which she won her first and so far only Oscar in 2002 for her role in the film Monster's Ball. It was after this appearance of the star 22 years ago that the designer from Beirut gained wide fame in Hollywood, and famous actresses lined up for his dresses.
The show of the new couture collection, created especially for the brand's anniversary, was accompanied by performances by Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello and Celine Dion, who, let us recall, has been struggling with muscle stiffness syndrome for several years. The catwalk was taken by supermodels of the 1990s and our time: Adriana Lima, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Candice Swanepoel, Stella Maxwell, Amelia Gray, Jourdan Dunn and others.
Today, 60-year-old Elie Saab is one of the most famous designers of evening and wedding dresses, in whose creations stars often shine on the red carpet. He opened his fashion house in Beirut in 1980 at the age of 18, and in 1997 he became the first foreign designer to have the honor of participating in Italian Fashion Week.
