Nicola Peltz to sue grooming company over death of her dog
TMZ reports that Nicola Peltz has hired a team of lawyers and plans to sue the grooming company to hold accountable those she believes are responsible for her dog's death.
Nicola's Chihuahua, Nala, had been her pet for nine years when she died on June 14, just after being picked up from her groomers. When Nicola brought Nala home, she found her choking and with a blue tongue. Peltz rushed the dog to the vet, but she died a few hours later. According to TMZ, records from the vet show Nala had fluid in her lungs, an elevated heart rate, and some neurological issues before she died.
Nicola believes that the groomers may be to blame for Nala's death, as the Chihuahua had recently undergone a medical examination and was found to be in perfect health. In addition, Nicola's other dogs had also exhibited strange symptoms after visiting the same groomer in New York on June 14. The pets were returned to their owner one by one after spending some time in the company van, and Nala was the last one to be given to Nicola. It is currently impossible to determine what exactly happened in the van, as there was no video camera.
According to TMZ, Peltz decided to go to court not for the money (remember that Nicola is the heiress of an American industrial magnate), but so that others do not face the same misfortune. In addition, she wants to find out what really caused Nala's death.
The last few months have been very difficult for Brooklyn Beckham's wife - recently, in May, Nicola's beloved grandmother Bunny died.
