Beyonce posed for Essence with her mother and daughters
Beyoncé is the subject of the latest new issue of Essence magazine. In a photo shoot for the publication by Andre D. Wagner, the singer starred with her mother Tina Knowles and two daughters from Jay-Z, Blue Ivy and Rumi.
In an interview with Essence, Beyoncé spoke about her new hair cosmetics brand, Cécred, which will be released on February 20. According to the star, the inspiration for creating this brand was her mother Tina, who in the past opened her own hair salon. 
I have vivid memories of my mother working as a hairdresser right in our home. She organized a small salon there, and I remember how her silhouette flashed while I watched cartoons or played with my dolls. These moments are etched in every corner of my childhood memories. I've seen her shampoo and cut hair, transforming women and making them feel really good about themselves. Looking back, I understand that it was not just a hairdresser, it was therapy,” Beyoncé shared.
She said that many wonderful clients came to the salon, which helped her overcome her isolation, and it was in that salon that Beyoncé first realized her dream of becoming an artist - all thanks to one of the clients, who turned out to be an opera singer. “A big part of who I am comes from my mom's salon. It’s something that touches all my senses and it’s a great place to grow up,” said the pop diva.
Tina Knowles also told the publication that taking care of hair has always been an important part of her family's life: “This is how we made a living. It's always been part of black culture: if you can manage your hair, you'll never be broke. I told this to my children. My mother told me this. This is our legacy and I am very glad to be part of this circle.”
The initial Cécred collection will include eight products: a clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub, a hydrating shampoo, a hydrating deep conditioner, a revitalizing treatment mask, a hydrating lotion, a nourishing hair oil, a fermented rice and rose ritual treatment, and a “shaking vessel.” ”, allowing you to mix care ingredients. Together they should strengthen, smooth the hair and help it recover from damage.
