The triumph of the series "Bear" and Descendants: Emmy Award Winners
The 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, the television equivalent of the Oscars, took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The award was supposed to take place last summer, but was postponed due to strikes by Hollywood writers and actors.
The winner of the award was the comedy series "Bear" from Netflix, which took home the award for Best Comedy Series. Leading actor Jeremy Allen White, who recently came into the spotlight thanks to a photo shoot for Calvin Klein, received a statuette for his leading male role in the series. The best mini-series was "Trash", the leading actors Steven Yang and Eli Wong took home the "best actor" awards. and "best actress" in the mini-series.
The leader in the number of nominations was the series "Descendants" from HBO, which was nominated in 27 categories. He took home the award for Best Drama Series, while Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook also received statuettes for Best Actor in a Drama Series.
Jennifer Coolidge took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
