Cardi B announced her separation from her husband
Cardi B has split from her husband, rapper Offset, after six years of marriage. The singer spoke about this on Sunday during a live broadcast on Instagram*.
“I don’t know if you received hints from me from my live broadcasts or stories when I turned on certain music,” Cardi addressed her subscribers. "I've already been in a minute" how lonely I was, but I was afraid... not afraid, but simply didn’t know how to tell the world about it.”
The 31-year-old rapper admitted that she "felt a sign" and finally decided to tell her fans about her personal life. "I want to start 2024 with a clean slate. I don't know, I'm interested in starting a new life, and yes, I'm excited."
Cardi B and Kiari Cephus (real name Offset - Ed.) got married in 2017 after several months of dating. The couple had two children - Kalche and Wave. The rapper has three more children from three ex-lovers. Previously, the couple twice announced their separation, rumored to be due to the musician’s infidelity, but they found ways not to bring the matter to a divorce.
