Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter has publicly ignored her father again.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adopted daughter, 21-year-old Zahara, has once again publicly renounced her father's last name: at her graduation ceremony at Spelman College, where Zahara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, she was referred to as Zahara Marley Jolie. In the program for the ceremony, the Hollywood couple's daughter was listed as Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, but upon taking the stage, her name was read as Zahara Marley Jolie. Previously, in 2023, when she joined a sorority at Spelman, she used only her mother's last name.
Brad Pitt's biological daughters, 19-year-old Shiloh and 17-year-old Vivienne, have also dropped their surname, as has his 24-year-old adopted son, Maddox. According to rumors, Brad Pitt had an earlier confrontation with Maddox while drunk. The incident occurred in 2016 on board their private jet, after which Angelina Jolie filed for divorce, accusing Pitt of domestic violence, initiating a custody battle, and banning the actor from seeing his children for several years after their split. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt himself, according to insiders, believes his ex-wife is deliberately turning the children against their father and keeping them "hypnotized."
Angelina Jolie, 50, and Brad Pitt, 62, have six children: three adopted (Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, and Zahara, 21) and three biological (Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17). The actress adopted Zahara from a local orphanage in Ethiopia in 2005. The celebrity couple married in 2014 after ten years of marriage and filed for divorce two years later. A custody battle and property division continued for the next eight years, with the divorce only finally resolved in late 2024. Brad Pitt is currently dating jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, and Angelina was wrongly suspected of having an affair with actor Louis Garrel.
Recently, there's been a lot of online discussion about the celebrity couple's biological daughter, Shiloh, who appeared in a music video for the South Korean singer. Many are also discussing Angelina Jolie's "new" face after her appearance at the Pearls of Purpose Foundation brunch.
