Meghan Markle shared new photos with her mother, husband, and children in honor of Mother's Day.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took their children and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, to Disneyland on Mother's Day. The Duchess of Sussex posted photos from their vacation on her social media, in which she hugs her mother and walks through the park with her husband, Archie, and Lilibet.
As a reminder, 44-year-old Meghan Markle and 41-year-old Prince Harry, who married in 2018 at Windsor Castle, are raising two children: seven-year-old son Archie and four-year-old daughter Lilibet. The couple keeps their children private and avoids revealing their faces. Recently, Meghan posted a photo of the newborn prince in honor of Archie's birthday.
It's worth noting that the Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland, has previously appeared in public with the couple. She was the only relative of Meghan's to attend their wedding in 2018, and her relationship with Prince Harry has been warm and trusting from the start, a stark contrast to the tense relationship the Sussexes have with the rest of Meghan's family: her father, Thomas, and her half-siblings. It's worth noting that Doria Ragland's reputation is far from impeccable: media outlets have reported at various times that Meghan Markle's mother previously served a prison sentence for financial fraud, though this has not been confirmed.
Meghan and Harry currently live in a mansion in Montecito and are developing their production company. After the couple stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020, their relationship with members of the royal family soured. This cooling was fueled by Prince Harry's controversial memoir, "The Spare," as well as the couple's interview with Oprah Winfrey and a Netflix documentary series in which Meghan and Harry discussed the less glamorous side of royal life.
