The Pinault Family Foundation held a gala dinner on the island of San Giorgio in Venice as part of the opening of the Biennale. The event was attended by billionaire François-Henri Pinault and his wife Salma Hayek, their 18-year-old daughter Valentina, and Pinault's daughter from his first marriage, Mathilde.
The celebrity family posed for photographers together before dinner. Salma Hayek, 59, dazzled in a black one-shoulder dress and high heels. Her daughter Valentina chose a similar look—also a one-shoulder dress with a leg slit, and her 25-year-old stepdaughter Matilda wore a low-cut dress.
As a reminder, actress Salma Hayek has been married to François-Henri Pinault, billionaire and CEO of the fashion conglomerate Kering (which includes brands such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, and others), since 2009. The couple's daughter, Valentina, was born two years before their wedding, and a year before that, supermodel Linda Evangelista gave birth to François-Henri's son, Augustin James. The billionaire denied his son's existence for years, but they eventually reestablished contact.
