Actor Barry Keoghan, known for his roles in Saltburn, Dunkirk, and The Banshee of Inisherin, has spoken out for the first time about rumors of his infidelity to ex-girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter. On Benny Blanco's podcast, Friends Keep Secrets, the 33-year-old actor also admitted that it was these allegations that forced him to disappear from social media and give up his social life.
"I stopped using Instagram, I stopped going to events, and I stopped interacting with people because of the false information being spread online," Keoghan said. "I never confirmed anything or commented on it, I just disappeared." When asked directly, "Is it because of the cheating?" Barry replied, "Yes, because of that. I don't want to drag others into it, but unfortunately, when a relationship is in the public eye, it becomes public knowledge." "A girl made a video [about his cheating], then another girl made the same video and apologized for making it up, but it seems like no one paid attention," the actor said, referring to a video by blogger Brecky Hill (with whom he was suspected of cheating), thereby denying rumors of his infidelity with his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter.
Breckie herself then recorded a video in which she categorically denied everything: "I have never met this man in my life. The only time I saw him was on TV in Saltburn." "I myself have been cheated on many times, and I would never ruin someone else's relationship or cause another girl such pain," the blogger also said. However, there is information online that she and Keoghan were seen together in a Hollywood hotel. 
Sabrina and Barry began dating in December 2023, but by August 2024, rumors were circulating that their relationship was falling apart. Insiders attributed this to Sabrina's rapid career surge, leaving her with little time for a personal life, but rumors of Keoghan's infidelity also swirled online. The couple broke up in December 2024. Afterward, Carpenter's fans began stalking Barry, writing insults about his mother, who suffered from drug addiction, and even finding the address of his grandmother's house. Rumor has it that the actor has resorted to fillers.
Before his relationship with Carpenter, the actor had a relationship with Alison Sandro for several years, who gave birth to his son, Brando, in 2022. Incidentally, Barry once left Alison for Sabrina.
