I met Blake in the darkest corner of the universe, which is called "Green Lantern" (the future spouses starred together in this film, playing lovers; filming took place in 2010, and it was released in 2011. - Ed.). We were friends and buddies, and about a year and a half later we went on a double date, but we were dating different people. We hung out, and we always kept in touch, as if by chance. And then she was going to Boston, and I was going to Boston, too. And then I said: "I'll go with you",

- Ryan shared.

I just begged her to sleep with me. After a week, I thought: "We should buy a house together." And we did it,

Reynolds admitted.

Describing their relationship, he said that they are "like from a fairy tale."

Now the couple, who married in 2012, has three daughters: six-year-old James, four-year-old Inez and one-year-old Betty. In an interview, the actor told how family life changed during the pandemic and how James and Inez were trained on Zoom.

The older girls had a difficult time. I've been looking for help endlessly. I've read books. I tried to control this ship somehow, but Blake was much better at it, because I'm also a child,

- Ryan shared.

The actor also told how family life affected his and Blake's careers.

Blake and I don't do movies at the same time. If Blake has a project, then I refuse to work. She will act in the film, and I will be with her on the set, I will look after the children,

Reynolds said.

Well, while Ryan was giving an interview, his wife had already managed to make fun of him again. Blake posted a screenshot of her response to one of the recent Reynolds stories on her Instagram. In the photo, the actor pulls a turtle out from under the car.
