Former security guard Britney Spears said that she was forced to take antipsychotics
The resumed trial in the custody case of 39-year-old Britney Spears remains in the spotlight of the press. The shocking details that the singer herself shared in court did not leave anyone indifferent and, apparently, prompted some other people familiar with the situation to speak out.
So, 40-year-old Fernando Flores, a former police officer who in 2010 (at that time Britney was already under the care of her father Jamie Spears for the second year) worked as a bodyguard of the singer for several months, gave an interview to The Sun. In an interview with journalists, he shared his memories of that time. Flores said that a woman came to Spears every Friday, who gave her medications, among which there were strong drugs.
I'll explain what it was: three antipsychotic drugs and birth control pills,
Flores said.
Antipsychotic drugs are psychotropic drugs that suppress nervous activity, which are also known as neuroleptics. These medications are able to eliminate delusions, hallucinations and other manifestations of psychosis, and, although they have a number of side effects, according to pharmacological studies, they do not disturb consciousness.
However, according to Britney's ex-security guard, her behavior under the influence of drugs changed a lot.
From her sane state, she went into conversations about parallel universes,
- Fernando noted.
The star's bodyguard also said that the bags of everyone who came to Britney were searched, her phone was checked, and Spears ' father called three or four times a day to control the situation.
If she wanted something, she had to ask permission first. When she was upset, she cried to the James Brown song It's A Man's World. She spent all her days mainly training and watching programs on TV,
Flores shared his memories.
It is worth noting that Fernando Flores is the same security guard who first appeared in the spotlight of the press at the end of 2010. Then he filed a lawsuit against Britney's guardians for $ 10 million, accusing the singer of sexual harassment. Allegedly, she often appeared naked in front of him and called him into the bedroom to have sex with him. In the same lawsuit, he said that the pop star used drugs, including methamphetamines and drugs used to treat the effects of an overdose of heroin or morphine.
In the lawsuit, the former bodyguard claimed that Spears was a rude boss and behaved inappropriately, for example, picking her nose "without apologies" and could not take a shower for several days. Britney's lawyers then called all the accusations false. As a result, the dispute was settled by agreement of the parties in 2012.
Although so far only new frightening details about the life of the star appear in the press, after the court session, Britney has already managed to win small victories. So, the other day, for the first time in a very long time, she was able to get behind the wheel and took a ride with her boyfriend Sam Asgari.
It was he who published the video from the salon in his storis. Britney's face is not visible on it, however, but fans recognized the singer by the tattoo on her arm. In addition, paparazzi pictures appeared on the network.
