An insider revealed that actress Rosamund Pike's boyfriend has a drug addiction.
An insider close to actress Rosamund Pike revealed that her boyfriend of more than 17 years, Robbie Uniacke, was undergoing treatment for drug addiction.
The Daily Mail has learned that 47-year-old Rosamund Pike is right to keep her relationship with Uniacke so closely guarded from the press. However, the couple found themselves in the media spotlight after Pike recently publicly referred to her boyfriend as "husband" at an event. Now, journalists have discovered what Robie Uniacke, who is 17 years her senior, was doing before he met the actress.
It turns out that before his relationship with Pike, businessman Robie Uniacke was married to Lady Emma Howard, daughter of the English aristocrat, Earl Charles of Carlisle. This marriage produced Uniacke's eldest son, Robie Jr. However, as it later turned out, the couple was united not by their child, but by drug addiction. Five years into their marriage, Robie and Emma were forced to undergo drug treatment together, and after both recovered, Uniacke's marriage to his wife, who was eight years his senior, ended.
As a reminder, actress Rosamund Pike, known for her roles in Gone Girl, Pride and Prejudice, Con Artist, and Saltburn, has been dating Robie Uniacke since 2009. Although Pike calls him her husband, they are still not officially married. The couple has two sons: 13-year-old Solo and 11-year-old Atom. Before Robie Uniacke, Pike dated actor Simon Woods and director Joe Wright.
