A rare photo of Anna Wintour with her daughter has surfaced online.
76-year-old former editor-in-chief of American Vogue Anna Wintour attended the premiere of the musical "Fear 13" on Broadway in New York City with her 38-year-old daughter, Bea Carrozzini. The journalist rarely appears in public with her children, as they lead a relatively private life.
Bee Shaffer is a producer and married to Francesco Carrozzini, son of the late Franca Sozzani, editor-in-chief of Italian Vogue. Anna Wintour has two children with child psychiatrist David Shaffer, to whom she was married for 15 years. Her eldest son, Charles Shaffer, appears less frequently in the media and works as a doctor. Anna Wintour was also in a long-term relationship for 20 years with businessman Shelby Bryan. The couple split in 2020, reportedly due to Bryan's financial problems and his alleged return to his ex-wife.
Anna Wintour, one of the most influential figures in the fashion world, is a British journalist who led American Vogue for 37 years. In 2025, she stepped down as editor-in-chief (the position is currently held by Chloé Malle, daughter of French director Louis Malle), retaining her positions as global content director for Condé Nast and editorial director of global Vogue. In addition to Vogue, Wintour also oversees the annual Met Gala, one of the biggest social events of the year, where international stars dream of walking the red carpet.
Last week, Anna Wintour and Meryl Streep graced the cover of Vogue magazine's new issue. The journalist and actress posed together ahead of the release of the second installment of The Devil Wears Prada, in which Streep plays Miranda Priestly, based on Wintour.
