Sydney Sweeney is being 'cancelled' for sexualizing children in the new season of 'Euphoria'.
Fans of the TV series "Euphoria" have criticized actress Sydney Sweeney and the show's crew for romanticizing pedophilia after a scene in the teaser for the show's third season, in which Sydney poses provocatively as a baby with a pacifier in her mouth.
On April 12, the latest teaser for the series "Euphoria" was released. Among other things, the video featured Sydney Sweeney as a small child. According to the plot, her character, Cassie, makes a living by filming explicit photos and videos for the webcam platform OnlyFans. Apparently, one of these commissions involved an image of a baby with a pacifier in its mouth.
Fans of the show immediately accused Sydney of romanticizing pedophilia. However, much of the criticism is directed at Sweeney, not Euphoria director Sam Levinson. According to the actress's followers, Sydney could have refused to film the scene, but she chose to do it: "How much did they pay Sydney for that pacifier scene?", "That's a pacifier, oh no!", "I'm shocked by what I just saw. I can't believe Sydney agreed to this."
It's worth noting that this scandal is far from the first in Sydney's biography. Last year, the actress was nearly "cancelled" after a commercial she appeared in. The American Eagle ad played on the similarity between the English words "genes" and "jeans." Because of this, Sydney was accused of Nazism.

Following the video, thousands of people online insisted the actress should be "cancelled" for promoting Nazism.
Furthermore, the young woman is disliked in Hollywood for being a Republican. In 2024, Sydney joined the Republican Party, which is not supported by most Hollywood celebrities. In response, Republican President Donald Trump called Sydney "hot."
