39-year-old Robert Pattinson revealed that he finds it appealing when a woman pays for dinner on dates. While promoting the romantic comedy "What a Drama!", the actor and his co-star Zendaya discussed splitting the bill on their first date.
"I find it quite sexy when a girl secretly pays. I think, 'Cool, she's going to take care of me,'" Robert Pattinson said.
Meanwhile, Zendaya revealed that while she might pay for her relationship with Tom Holland, it's her husband who usually takes the buck. The actress admitted that she'd be pleased if the man picked up the tab on their first date. She considers it "chivalrous." 
The conversation sparked heated discussions online, with Pattinson's comments particularly harshly received by women, who called him a "plate-man." "How much does he have to pay for a manicure?"
