The long-awaited sequel to "The Devil Wears Prada," starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, premiered in Tokyo.
The actresses walked the red carpet at Japan's Roppongi Hills Arena in outfits designed in a single color scheme. Streep, 76, posed in a fringed dress from the new Chanel collection, while Hathaway, 43, chose a ruffled couture dress from Valentino, complementing it with jewelry from Bvlgari.
Streep and Hathaway previously appeared at the Mexican premiere of "The Devil Wears Prada 2."
The new installment of the cult classic follows Runway editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) as she struggles to maintain her magazine's influence amid a print media crisis. Her former assistant, Emily (Emily Blunt), now heads a luxury brand whose advertising budget could be the magazine's salvation. The film opens on April 29.
