Princess Charlene of Monaco, Prince Albert II, and Princess Caroline visited the Exotic Garden in Monaco.
Princess Charlene of Monaco and Prince Albert II visited the Principality's Exotic Garden, which is preparing to reopen to the public after a six-year renovation. The couple, accompanied by the Prince's 69-year-old sister, Princess Caroline, took a tour of the garden.
48-year-old Princess Charlene appeared in public in a dark green Elie Saab pantsuit and high-heeled shoes. The look was completed with sunglasses and gold earrings. 68-year-old Prince Albert II was dressed in a blue suit with a tie, sunglasses and a hat.
The Exotic Garden of Monaco, which features over a thousand unique plants from around the world, was first opened in 1933 under Prince Louis II. Situated on a cliff, it offers one of the most beautiful views of the principality. During the coronavirus pandemic, the garden was closed, and until recently, it was undergoing extensive renovations. It will soon be open to the public.
As a reminder, Prince Albert II, son of Hollywood star Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III of Monaco, married South African Olympic athlete Charlene Wittstock in 2011. Three years later, the couple welcomed twins: Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. Throughout their marriage, rumors circulated about relationship problems and rumors that they were living separately. Furthermore, several years ago, while traveling in South Africa, Charlene contracted an infection, which required several surgeries and forced her to spend approximately nine months away from her family.
In addition to the children from his legal wife, Albert II has two older recognized children from different mothers who have no rights to the throne.
