Demi Moore shared new photos of Bruce Willis on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
On March 19, Bruce Willis turned 71. To mark the occasion, his ex-wife, Demi Moore, shared new photos of the actor, who was diagnosed with dementia several years ago.
In the photo, Willis is pictured with his granddaughter Louetta. In one of the shots, the two-year-old kisses her famous grandfather on the cheek, and he smiles. "All you need is love. Happy birthday, Bruce," Demi captioned the post.
As a reminder, Louetta is Moore and Willis's only granddaughter. Her mother, Rumer Willis, is one of three daughters the star couple had together, who were together for 13 years and divorced in 2000. Bruce also has two children with his current wife, Emma Heming.
In 2022, Bruce Willis retired from acting due to frontotemporal dementia, which impaired his ability to remember lines. The disease progressed rapidly: the actor now barely speaks, has difficulty moving, and doesn't always recognize his loved ones. In recent years, he was cared for by his wife, Moore herself, and their daughters. However, last year, Heming decided to move into a separate home with her children and provide specialized care for her husband. Many criticized her for this, but Emma publicly stated that she doesn't accept criticism from people who haven't experienced a similar problem. Demi supported her.
Hemming recently revealed that after Willis's death, she plans to donate his brain to scientists.
