"I've never felt sexier." 60-year-old Paulina Porizkova poses in lace lingerie.
Supermodel Paulina Porizkova inspired her Instagram followers* with a revealing video: in translucent lingerie, she showed off her unedited body and spoke candidly about aging and self-acceptance.
In the video, Porizkova appeared before fans in a soft pink lingerie set - a translucent bra and panties, complemented by a silk robe. In an ironic caption to the video, she revealed the secret of her striking appearance: "How do you look so stunning at 60? It's all about good lighting and pose." The model then showed her body unadorned, zooming in on the camera and showing off wrinkles and age-related changes in her skin: "The reality is. I'm 60 years old. This is what it looks like."
Porizkova admitted to gaining 15 pounds (almost 7 kilograms) over the past few years, but she takes the changes in her figure with humor. "This belly isn't going anywhere. It carried two children, and no amount of Pilates or my love for it will change that," she wrote. Paulina has two sons, Jonathan and Oliver, with her late husband, The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek.
The supermodel emphasized that she likes her current body more than before. "Smoke and mirrors, people. That's how you can create a beautiful illusion for a moment. The truth is, gravity takes its toll. But gravity has made you stronger, so you can hold your head up higher than ever," she philosophically remarked.
Porizkova also told a story about the lingerie set she wore in the photo shoot. The model bought it seven years ago, hoping to impress a man "who didn't care at all about lingerie." "He just wanted me to look twenty years younger," she shared.
But now, everything is different. "And now, even when I barely fit into it, it's definitely worth wearing just to see the look on my boyfriend's face. And so, despite all the obvious so-called disadvantages of age, I've never felt sexier and more comfortable in my skin," Porizkova admitted, referring to her 62-year-old fiancé, screenwriter Jeff Greenstein.
As a reminder, Paulina Porizkova was one of the most prominent supermodels of the 1980s, the first Eastern European to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Her biography is full of drama: at the age of three, she was left behind in Czechoslovakia with her grandmother while her parents fled Soviet troops, and was only reunited with them seven years later thanks to the help of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme.
In 1989, she married musician and actor Ric Ocasek, gave birth to two sons, and, at the peak of her career, signed a then-record $6 million contract with Estée Lauder. However, in 2018, after nearly 30 years of marriage, the couple separated, and a year later, Porizkova found her husband dead in their New York apartment—and discovered that Ocasek had cut her and their children out of his will, declaring on paper that she had "abandoned" him.
In recent years, the supermodel has been actively fighting ageism: she regularly posts revealing, unretouched photos, responds to haters, and encourages women not to fear age. "Aging is a privilege," she asserts. And in 2025, Paulina experienced a new joy: she accepted the marriage proposal of screenwriter Jeff Greenstein, known for his work on the series "Friends" and "Desperate Housewives."
