Penelope Cruz, Christian Bale, and Peter Sarsgaard with their wives at the premiere of "The Bride"
The London premiere of the film "Bachelorette" took place, and the leading actors took to the red carpet. 51-year-old Penélope Cruz (in a low-cut dress), Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale with his wife, and Jake Gyllenhaal with his girlfriend appeared before the cameras.
54-year-old Peter Sarsgaard appeared on the red carpet with his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal, who directed the film (she is also Jake's sister). The couple's daughter Ramona also supported them at the premiere.
"The Bride!" is based on James Whale's 1935 film "Bride of Frankenstein," an adaptation of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel "Frankenstein; or, the Modern Prometheus." Interestingly, this isn't the first recent adaptation of the iconic story. In 2025, the film "Frankenstein," starring Jacob Elordi, was released.
