Angelina Jolie made a public appearance in Egypt
Angelina Jolie visited the border area between Egypt and the Gaza Strip to inspect the progress of humanitarian aid. The 50-year-old actress was captured by photojournalists during a meeting with media representatives.
Jolie, who has long been known for her humanitarian and charitable initiatives, flew in to inspect the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. It is a vital corridor for delivering humanitarian aid to Palestinian territory, although the border crossings themselves, amid the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict, remain closed to civilian traffic, with the exception of rare medical evacuations.
The actress and ex-wife of Brad Pitt appeared in public in a gray sweater, with loose hair and minimal makeup.
