Pregnant for the fourth time, blogger Lerchek (real name Valeria Chekalina) took part in a new photo shoot with the father of her unborn child and her dance coach, Louis Squicchiarini.
In the photos, 33-year-old Valeria, who has been under house arrest for over a year in connection with a multi-million dollar fraud case, poses in a white, translucent dress with her 37-year-old boyfriend. Luis accompanied the photos with a message to the blogger's fans, confirming that he is going to be a father and declaring his intention to be "support and protection" for his beloved.
"This is a completely new and most important stage in my life. I've always protected my personal space from prying eyes, but now I understand that true happiness is something I want to share with those who truly support us. I am immensely grateful for the trust of my beloved and her family. My main task now is to be their support and protection. I promise to do everything possible to ensure that our family is filled with love, care, and happiness," Louis wrote.
Elvira, Valeria's mother, also tagged herself in the post. She thanked those who cared for their support and called her daughter and her new boyfriend "a wonderful couple."
"Now, in this difficult time for us, a new life has been born and another heart has begun to beat, still very small, but strong. I am immensely grateful to God for this miracle, and I will become a grandmother for the fourth time. As a mother, I am infinitely happy to see how loved my daughter is, despite all the adversity. Luis has been by our side all this time, supporting us morally and financially. Together they are a wonderful couple, and I am sure they will be wonderful parents," Elvira said.
Meanwhile, online speculation is rife that Lerchek "got pregnant on purpose" to reduce her potential prison sentence. It's known that after the birth of her child, she will be eligible for a deferment or mitigation of her sentence. Lerchek herself stated that she and Luis had been together for a year and had planned the pregnancy. "I believe this child was given to us by God, because children come at the most opportune moment," Chekalina noted.
As a reminder, the blogger and her ex-husband, Artyom Chekalin (who already have three children together), are accused of illegally transferring funds abroad on an especially large scale. According to investigators, they earned over 250 million rubles from selling online courses and fitness marathons and transferred the funds abroad using forged documents. The ex-spouses are under house arrest awaiting a court decision, after which they could face 5 to 10 years in prison. It was reported yesterday that Yentrobank found no violations in the money transfers in the Chekalin case, and they may be acquitted at the next hearing on December 1.
Valeria and Artem Chekalin were together for about 13 years and broke up last summer.
